Alvor Holidays Solrio

We first visited Sol Rio in 2011 just after the development was finished and were not disappointed.  In fact we hadn't even left to come home before we had booked for the following year!  

 

The development is small (just 30 units) so the gardens and pool are never crowded. Often (even in August) we have the entire pool to ourselves!  We bought our first apartment at SolRio in 2013 and it quickly came apparent that demand was so great that if we wanted to enjoy the apartment ourselves and share with guests we would buy another as soon as one came available - and now we have three!

During the time we have been at Solrio, we have made many friends, both among other owners and guests, of many nationalities including Portuguese, British, French, Dutch, Swiss, Finnish, Canadian...

The apartments are very much our home away from home and we aim to make our guests feel welcome and at home. The location of the apartments means car hire is not necessary, but for those wishing to explore there are many car hire options as well as organised excursions, taxis, local buses and trains.  There is secure underground parking and allocated parking spece for guests with cars.
